Another success for the format organized by the Morenews publishing group and which was proposed on the occasion of the appointment “Waiting for Villa Ormond in bloom” in the extraordinary location of the Sanremo villa.
The event was included in the event promoted by Villa Ormond Events Foundation in collaboration with thePalette Restaurants Association with company technical sponsors Ravera Bio of Albenga and Cna Imperia.
The gala dinner was a fun and nice party with over 140 participants and an original menu created by the executive chef of AdHoc, Matteo Riccitelliwho proposed a delicious menu with dishes made with the company’s edible flowers Ravera Bio from Albenga.
During the evening the reporter Claudio Porchia together with the comic actor Stefano Bicocchi aka Vito, he presented the flowers of the various preparations and accompanied the public in the tasting of particular flavors, in some cases never tried before. Flowers used only for ornamental purposes and appreciated for the beauty of the colors of the petals such as Begonia, Calendula, Snapdragons, Marigold, Nasturtium and Violet they were presented in the food version allowing guests to discover the secrets of cooking with flowers, which represents the new frontier of gourmet cuisine.

Welcome aperitif with Focaccia with Rosemary flowers and a Zucchini flower filled with the flavor of Spring and stuffed with Bocche di Leone
As an appetizer a delicate “Totanacetta, Pink Shrimp and fried marigold flowers with Nasturtium flower sauce, which gave an unprecedented spiciness to the dish.
As a first course of the tasty Raviolini stuffed with Rabbit and flavored with Marigold flowers
Followed by an exquisite “Grilled sea bass Pavè on purple potato purée, Viola Cornuta mayonnaise with Begonia flower butter” which balanced the flavors of the sea with the acidic and citrus notes of Begonia.
Finally, a dessert prepared by the chef Luca Muratore, collaborator of Cna of Imperia who proposed a “Tribute to Orange Blossoms and Citrus Fruits of the Riviera”
